Yakuza 2 is another action-adventure video game for the PlayStation 2 published by the Sega Company, which is the second installment in the main series of games. The game centers on the current yakuza Kazuma Kiryu, who receives a request for help from his former group, the Tojo Clan yakuza of eastern Japan, to maintain good relations with the Omi Alliance group of western Japan. Throughout this journey, he learns about a Korean mafia gang.
There are several new gameplay features. Another aim of the game’s story was to show a deep adult love story, but this was not seen in previous games. Critical reception of the game was good. Reviewers have praised the gameplay features and combat system here. After its release, other emulators were gradually released, then a direct sequel version 3 was released in 2009. Kiwami 2 which is a sequel version of the original Yakuza remake was released in 2017 and later released on Windows and Xbox One.
