Description
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 is a type of professional wrestling video game published by THQ and it is the twelfth installment of the World Wrestling Entertainment video game series. This game is the same as its other version Here comes the pain series. After the release of the brand extension, this game was rebranded, splitting WWE’s roster into two brands. It featured NTSC cover art featuring Big Show, John Cena, and The Miz.
Gameplay
The gameplay of this game is the same as the previous games but there are some changes such as the inclusion of a new physics system that allows the game objects to be used more realistically for example the game table, ladder chairs, etc. In and out of the ring, the ladder and ring ropes can attack the opponent and even break in half. Like in the original WWE, players can throw chairs at opponents. The interior of the Hell in a Cell match was redesigned with the walls, arms under the ring, steel steps near the poles, cell doors, etc. And the game of barreling through the cage wall is also introduced here.
The game introduced a new Road to WrestleMania mode to include new features such as backstage roaming, mini-quests, and more interactions with other superstars. High-profile players like Rey Mysterio, John Cena, Christian, and Chris Jericho have been associated with this wheat. Create a Superstar mode now includes pre-loaded attribute points for superstars. Added a new finisher position “corner” to Create’s finisher mode, where finishers can create in the corner position. The number of finishers in this game has been expanded to 130. The game includes an online pass that allows a user to play the game online for free with their friends or external opponents. There is a new feature called “Creator” that helps players create new match types. The game also features the inclusion of championship belts depending on which character wins the match.
