Description
It is an action-adventure beat ’em up 3D video game developed for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. In this ROM there are 2 Modes available: Single-player and multiplayer modes. There are 2 main characters Liu Kang and Kung Lao who are also known as Shaolin Monks, as they fight in many places like Arthurium, Netherworld, and Outerworld to stop other worlds fighting. Players of this game can easily control Shaolin monks Liu Cang and Kung Lao in this game in solo play or cooperative play as they defend Arthrium from the forces of the Outworld.
In the early 2000s, a spin-off centering on Liu Kang was considered. But after the negative reception of previous Adventures, Mythologies: Sub-Zero and Special Forces, it was removed from the game in this series. In this Shaolin Monks, some elements are added in this series including Fatalities, combos, and a versus mode. North America uses the character names Goro, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, Baraka, and Scorpian on the front page or features images of this game.
Gameplay
There are three modes to play this game a single-player mode also the game has a cooperative mode where 2 players can play together solo and it is not working in many cases there are some environments where 2 players cannot play together. Also, this game has another mode where 2 players can fight against each other. Also you can play a shortened, censored demo version of The Suffering: Ties.
In Shaolin Monks characters have a multi-directional combat system, features that give players the ability to attack any of the enemies that surround them. The features allow the players to maintain combo attacks across all kinds of enemies, and give a powerful attack on those enemies & throughout into the air. The main character has many of their features that help you to play this game and give a great pleasure. Experience points can be gained through these combos and special moves. The environments of this game can play a vital role as there are several troubles, that will instantly kill the enemy like some big hole in the floor or something like a spinning wheel.
The game also includes death which is a major feature of the series. There is a lot of distance to perform combos on enemies which increases the chance of enemy lethality once the opponent is sprung. One of the great aspects of this game is that you as the player can fight multiple enemies at once by unlocking different missions. For just a little bit of time after performing the attack, the player may use more harmful attacks.
