Description
Mortal Kombat: Deception is a Fighting video game published by Midway. The story of this game focuses on the revival of the Dragon King Onaga. who attempts to conquer the territories in the series after defeating the main antagonists of the previous game, Quan Chi and Shang Tsung, and the Ortherium’s guardian, the thunder god Raiden. Survivors of earlier titles join forces to confront Anaga.
The game’s co-creator Ed Boon designed Cheats as a fantasy fighting game. It also includes another mode mini-game as a surprise. Deadly Alliance redesigned the game to make more parts like combos and the arena more interactive. The reviewers or users of this game give the best rating as a fighting game. They appreciated the fights and new features of this game. The Konquest Mode of the game received criticism for poor voice acting. Many people call this game the best fighting of 2004.
Gameplay
The game’s arenas are similar to its previous series but include new features. After killing the enemy, the player may pick up the weapon and use it. You as a player can knock out an opponent in a certain location fighting area and then fight in a new location. Most of the game features death traps, where any player can get an instant kill if they get knocked down. The game also introduces the Combo Breaker, which allows players to interrupt 3 times per match. Unlike Deadly Alliance, where the characters were one Fatality. Deception characters have two Fatalities and hara-kiri suicide moves.
There are 26 characters available to play this game. The game contains several new features like Chess and puzzle games with MK characters and an online mode. There is another mode called Konquest mode, which is the return from Deadly Alliance, But the mode follows the life of Shujinko. Who is a warrior, continues to search for signs to give Onaga more power but is tricked by Onaga. The Deception mode of this game introduces two new mini-games. The crypt returns from the game’s previous series’ deadly alliance and serves as an interface to access additional items hidden in coffins. The crypt size was reduced from 676 to 400 coffins. Also, some coffin locks require pictures but this key is only available in conquest mode.
