Description
This is a racing simulation racing video game published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PS2. It is the fourth installment of this racing game series. It was released in many countries like Japan, Hong Kong, North America, and Europe. The game was originally planned to be released in 2003 but due to delays, it took 1 to 1.5 years to release. There are more than 721 cars available in the game along with 51 trucks, many of which are new versions or modified versions. The game became a commercial success upon release and became one of the best games of 2005. with it becoming the third best-selling game on the PlayStation 2. It was released on the PlayStation Portal and renamed Grand Turismo in 2009.
Gameplay
The game uses automobiles like the Model T Ford and some of the famous Le Man’s cars that have raced over the years. This game has a mode called photo mode where your gameplay is stored and later you can take a screenshot from the saved replay and save it to your memory card or SD card. There is another mode called the A-Spec mode, where players collect points or coins by winning races. Additionally, a new B-Spec mode allows the user to take on the role of race management. Also in this game, some points can be won through this a and b spec. It has 34 driving missions with 250 points each. In B spec mode the car’s speed can be increased by up to 3x allowing endurance races to be completed in less time than it takes in A spec mode.
Another new addition to the game is the driving mission, which is similar to the license test. 250 A-Spec points or more than 1000 credit points are awarded after completing this mission. There are 4 sets of missions in this game: Pass, where the driver has to pass an opponent within a certain distance. 3 Lap Battle, where the driver or player has to pass 5 opponents during 3 laps. Slipstream Battle, where the driver can overtake the opponent by drafting. Also, many such battles facilitate the entertainment of the users.
